Согласно опубликованным данным, значительное снижение продаж DVD не смогло компенсировать увеличение продаж Blu-Ray дисков.<br /><br />За первое полугодие 2013 года общие продажи дисков упали 10,5% по объему. При этом, падение DVD составило 12,5%, при общем объеме продаж 40 770000 проданных дисков. В то же время Blu-ray было продано 6 530000 единиц, а объем продаж вырос на 3,9%.
