Важным направлением совместной работы станет реализация программы по обновлению технического оборудования, ранее предоставленного Samsung музею. Программа предполагает, помимо прочего, установку в залах Эрмитажа новейших ЖЕ LED телевизоров Samsung из серии 7 с диагональю экрана 46, 55 и 75 дюймов. За время более чем 16-летней совместной работы, направленной на внедрение в музее инновационных технологий, была осуществлена программа технической поддержки образовательной, научной и экскурсионной деятельности музея, переоборудована входная зона Эрмитажа, отреставрирован исторический Зал Совета, восстановлено несколько уникальных старинных механизмов: большие настольные часы с органом, принадлежавшие русской императрице Екатерине II, выполненные в Англии в 1792 году мастером Эрдли Нортоном; настольные часы с музыкальным механизмом работы Джеймса Кокса (1760 г.), автора знаменитых часов «Павлин»; напольные музыкальные часы, созданные в мастерской Рентгена-Кинцинга в Германии в 1780-е годы.<br /><br />
