Japan Display разработала OLED дисплей с очень высокой плотностью пикселей.  5,2 дюймовый (по диагонали) экран с Full HD разрешением (1920x1080 пикселей). Плотность пикселей составляет 423 ppi, каждый цветной пиксель состоит из четырех белых субпикселей с цветными фильтрами RGBW (красный, зеленый, синий, белый).<br /><br />Для массового выпуска OLED панелей Japan Display весной следующего года запускает в Японии пилотную линию мощностью 4000 пластин в месяц. Линия относится по международной классификации к поколению 4.5 (4.5G) и позволит выпускать  заготовки для OLED панелей с максимальным размером 730х920 мм.
