Среди новинок Sharp есть несколько ЖК и OLED дисплеев с поддержкой разрешений Full  HD и QFHD.<br /><br />Технология IGZO разработана Sharp совместно с Semiconductor Energy Laboratory (SEL). За счет использования более совершенных материалов в системе управления жидкими кристаллами IGZO позволяет серьезно усовершенствовать текущее поколение ЖК дисплеев. Тонкопленочные транзисторы получаются более компактными, позволяют повышать яркость и снижать энергопотребление, примерно на 50 % в обычном режиме работы. При отображении неподвижных изображений экономия энергии достигает уже 80 %.<br /><br />IGZO позволяет серьезно усовершенствовать сенсорные дисплеи. В частности, ранее ограниченные 5 дюймами сенсорные OLED дисплеи теперь теоретически можно делать хоть 90-дюймовыми. IGZO позволяет делать искривленные OLED дисплеи.<br />
