Компания представила последнюю версию фирменного интерфейса Thunderbolt, который теперь будет поддерживать 4K видео и передачу сигналов со скоростью  20 Гбит/c по двум каналам. Первое поколение Thunderbolt  поддерживало 10 Гбит/c, как и нынешний HDMI. Но и новая версия HDMI также должна появиться в этом году. <br /><br />Компания Apple одной из первых использовала Thunderbolt  в своих компьютерах. Сейчас Intel утверждает, что более 200 компаний уже приобрели лицензии на использование Thunderbolt.<br />
