Новый формат под названием DTS-HD Layered Audio был представлен на прошедшей недавно выставке NAB 2013. DTS -HD Layered Audio не предназначен для Blu-ray, он нужен лишь при потоковой доставке цифровых аудиосигналов в т .ч в составе онлайн видео.<br /><br />"Мы разработали нашу аудио технологию для повышения эффективности передачи звука в условиях ограниченной пропускной способности ", - сказал Марк Джонсон, вице-президент DTS.
