Сетевые возможности включают проводную сеть (LAN),  беспроводной модуль Wi-Fi, подключаемый через порт USB.<br /><br />Philips BDP3480 воспроизводит диски AVCHD, BD, BD-R/BD-RE, CD, CDDA, CD-R/CD-RW, DVD, DVD + R / + RW, DVD -R/-RW, SVCD, и VCD, совместим с мультимедийными форматами AVI, DivX, M2TS, MKV, MP4, MPEG и MPG для видео, а также с AAC, MKA, MP3 и WMA для звука и GIF, JPEG и JPG для изображений.<br /><br />Начало продаж в Европе и России пока не заявлено.<br />
