Используя самый передовой процесс изготовления полупроводниковых элементов с минимальными  размерами 19 нанометров (нм), компания изготовила 128 ГБ чипы NAND флэш-памяти. На стендах были выставлены 300 мм пластины-заготовки для нарезки чипов.<br /><br />Еще одна новинка Toshiba – 3-х битная многоуровневая ячейка памяти. Эту технологию называют multiple-level cell (MLC).<br /><br />Toshiba также уделяет особое внимание многослойной концепции микросхем (чипов) памяти. Так 128 ГБ модуль сделан в 16 слоев толщиной 30 мкм, с емкостью каждого слоя в 64 Гб.
