Но по данным исследования NPD Group: смарт функциональность телевизоров все же мало востребована покупателями таких моделей. Большая часть функций оказывается вообще не нужна зрителям. Наиболее востребованной оказалась функция просмотра онлайн-видео, чуть более половины (60%) владельцев используют ее. Однако далеко не всем пользователям нравится такая трансформация привычного ящика с экраном. Для них телевизор так и остается дисплеем с возможностью просмотра телепрограмм и подключения того же компьютера, игровой консоли, других источников HD видеосигналов.<br /><br />Одной из заманчивых возможностей является беспроводной обмен файлами и видеопотоками между большим экраном и дисплеями планшетов и смартфонов. Однако и здесь не все так безоблачно, из-за наличия разных стандартов и конкурирующих технологий.
