Эта новая версия включает опцию StudioRes, которая позволяет кодировать видеосигналы 10-bit 4:2:2 H.264 в 4K разрешении с возможностью ускоренного до 45% декодирования, в сравнении с предыдущей версией.<br />Кроме того снижается размер файлов и загрузка каналов при передаче такого сигнала, минимум на 26%. Разработанное программное обеспечение основано на стандарте H.265 HEVC. <br /><br />Новое программное обеспечение eyeIO может стать привлекательным предложением для потоковых сервисов, которые планируют предлагать своим клиентам 4K видео. Сегодня отсутствие  видеоматериалов в формате сверх высокого разрешения является одним из основных тормозов массового внедрения  на рынок UHD телевизоров.
