Вырученные деньги будут способствовать укреплению финансового положения, позволят Panasonic сохранить свои важные научные исследования и разработки, реализовать их в новых изделиях.<br /><br />Рейтер отмечает, что Panasonic обладает большим объемом недвижимого имущества и собственных производственных мощностей, которых на 30% больше, чем у преуспевающей сегодня Apple. Так, Pansonic владеет более чем 10 млн. квадратных метров офисных и производственных площадей, общежитий для работников, спортивными сооружениями для регби, бейсбола и легкой атлетики.<br /><br />"У нас много земли и зданий в Японии и за рубежом", сказал Hideaki Kawai в интервью в головном офисе компании в Осаке. Но отказался перечислять, какие из них будут проданы, сказав лишь, что большинство из них в Японии.<br /><br />Источник знакомый с этим планом сообщил Рейтер, что будет продаваться в частности 24-х этажный центр в Токио, построенный в 2003 году, общей площадью более 47300 кв. метров и жилье 2000 сотрудников Panasonic.<br />
