Поскольку камера способна обнаруживать небольшие различия в цвете, она может использоваться для проверки точности нанесения цвета и контроля цветопередачи при промышленной калибровке дисплеев.<br />Традиционно, для увеличения количества распознаваемых цветов необходимо увеличивать количество камер. Новая камера позволит снизить размеры оборудования на линиях контроля цвета.<br /><br />Тем не менее, необходимо в таких камерах соблюдать баланс между количеством цветов (цветностью) и разрешением. Камеры с большой глубиной резкости можно, например, использовать для считывания QR кодов расположенных вдали товаров. А также контролировать в производстве печатные платы, сокращая время, необходимое для проведения испытаний и проверок.
