Плотность пикселей в небольшом 2,3 дюймовом дисплее Japan Display составляет 651 ppi, что примерно вдвое больше, чем в сегодняшних смартфонных дисплеях высокого разрешения.  Разрешение 1280 x 800 пикселей эквивалентно имеющемуся на экранах ноутбуков, но размер экрана всего 2,3 дюйма. <br /><br />С шагом пикселя 39 микрон этот дисплей свободен от таких артефактов, как зубчатые линии на дисплеях с большими пикселями. Небольшой шаг пикселя представляет изображение, сопоставимое по качеству разрешения со снимками пленочных фотоаппаратов.<br /><br />«Мы задались вопросом, насколько высокого разрешения позволит достичь используемая нами LTPS технология и решили сделать этот мирового класса дисплей», - так компания комментирует свою разработку. <br />
