Japan Display представит новую панель на выставке FPD International 2012, которая будет проходить с 31 октября по 2 ноября в Йокогаме, Япония.<br /><br />Размер панели составляет 7,03 дюйма, она ориентирована на мобильные устройства с низким энергопотреблением. Компания представила два варианта новой панели. Одна из них отличается высокой отражательной способностью, использует внешний свет для замены внутренней подсветки. Другому варианту панели присуща повышенная чистота цвета. Обе панели имеют коэффициент контрастности 30:1. Панель отражательного типа обладает коэффициентом отражения 40%, при 5% охвате цветовой гаммы NTSC. Разрешение составляет 768 х 1024, с тремя отдельными субпикселями (красный, зеленый, синий) на каждый пиксел.<br /><br />Значительного снижения энергопотребления удалось добиться за счет использования экономичной системы TFT-управления ячейками (т.н. драйвера) на основе технологии поликристаллического кремния. Имеется массив памяти с ячейкой типа SRAM на каждый пиксель  изображения.<br /><br />Кроме того, за счет оптимизации оптической конструкции рассеивающего слоя поверх панели, компания реализовала поверхность экрана под натуральную бумагу.<br /><br />"Мы можем начать массовое производство, как только поступят заказы ", - говорится в сообщении компании.<br /><br />Japan Display организована на базе интеллектуальных ресурсов и наработок Hitachi, Toshiba и Sony – первого производителя OLED телевизоров и по существу единственного сейчас изготовителя профессиональных OLED мониторов.
