Согласно сегодняшней статьи в Korea Times, Samsung и LG, обещавшие начать выпуск своих 55 дюймовых OLED телевизоров еще нынешним летом, испытывают серьезные проблемы при налаживании массового производства. Большой процент брака никак не позволяет LG и Samsung наладить рентабельный выпуск 55 дюймовых OLED моделей.<br /><br />Samsung собирается в этом году собрать уже 500 телевизоров, вместо планировавшихся 50 000. В этой же статье сообщается, что стоимость 55 дюймового телевизора Samsung ожидается на уровне $9000, тогда как у LG аналогичная по размеру экрана модель будет стоить около $8000. <br /><br />На встрече с журналистами Korea Times президент LG Display г-н Han Sang-beom отказался комментировать планируемые сроки начала массовых продаж. В тоже время глава LG Electronics г-н Kwon Hee-won заявляет, мы первыми сможем представить 55 дюймовые OLED телевизоры покупателю.
