Компания Sharp объявила сегодня о начале массового производства 5″ Full HD ЖК дисплеев для мобильной техники. Подобные дисплеи демонстрируются на открывшейся в Японии выставке CEATEC 2012. Они выполнены на основе технологии CG Silicon и обладают самой высокой плотностью пикселей среди массово выпускаемых дисплеев, 443 ppi (пикселя на дюйм).
