JVC называют его самым большим в мире профессиональным 4K ЖК монитором. JVC RS-840UD поддерживает разработанную специально для домашних кинотеатров настройку цветовой гаммы. Новый ЖК дисплей JVC выполнен на основе панели типа IPS с системой LED подcветки, использует 10 битное кодирование цвета и частоту обновления экрана 100/120 Гц, выделяется тонким ободком вокруг экрана 178 градусными углами обзора.<br /><br />Новый дисплей JVC отличается от аналогичных по размеру телевизоров Sony и LG отсутствием поддержки технологии 3D. Но JVC заявляет, RS-840UD будет продаваться по цене гораздо более конкурентоспособной, чем HDTV Sony ($25000) и LG ($20000).<br />
