Видео канал связал демонстрационный зал со штаб квартирой компании ASTRA Satellite в Люксембурге, в сотрудничестве с которой была создана видеотрансляция. <br /><br />4K воспроизводился в формате Quad Full HD, кодированном в соответствии со стандартом H.264 (DVB-S2) на скорости 50 Мб/с. Sony декодировала принятый сигнал и воспроизвела на 84 дюймовом дисплее Sony Bravia с разрешением 3840 x 2160. <br /><br />Для упрощения трансляции Sony собирается реализовать передачу на скоростях от 10 до 20 Мб/с. И заявляет, что может серьезно сжать без потери качества оригинальный 4К сигнал.
