Новые модели T624, T628, T678 ожидаются в планшетах, смартфонах и телевизорах с сентября 2013 года.<br /> <br />Чипы T624, T628, T678 поддерживают новый метод оптимизации работы графического процессора с помощью сжатия текстур и технологию компрессии с адаптивным масштабируемым текстурированием (Adaptive Scalable Texture Compression - ASTC). Заявляется, что новые чипы позволят усовершенствовать воспроизведение и запись видео в высоком разрешении, обработку изображений. Игры будут представлены более реалистично и эффективно.<br /><br />По предварительным оценкам, технология ASTC будет реализована, по крайней мере, в каждом пятом Android устройстве с графическим процессором. Одним из первых гаджетов с использованием новых процессоров станет Samsung Galaxy Note 2, ожидаемый в сентябре 2013 года.<br />
