Прежде всего, LG Display решила модернизировать завод 6-Gen LCD и будет производить на нем с использованием технологии LTPS как ЖК, так и OLED панели. <br /><br />Опытный завод Gen-8 будет полностью готов во второй половине 2012 года. Еще не решены вопросы о масштабах и сроках дополнительных инвестиций по этому проекту, которые будут приняты по результатам первых продаж 55 дюймовых OLED телевизоров. <br /><br />Через два-три года компания надеется получать основную прибыть от продажи OLED панелей.<br />
