Компания Sony пошла еще дальше, полностью купив Gaikai за $ 380 млн. Первоначальное предложение было $ 500 млн., но Sony удалось сторговаться. <br /><br />Игровая платформа Sony теперь будет развиваться на основе серверной технологии Gaikai. А новинки ведущего игрового онлайн сервиса, очевидно, первоначально будут появляться на телевизорах Sony, прежде чем попасть  на экраны поклонников технологий Samsung и LG.
