Этот телевизор требует использования 3D очков, в отличие от своего автостереоскопического предшественника 55X3. В Regza 55XS5 использована ЖК панель с QFHD разрешением 3840x2160 пиксел, что действительно впечатляет. Не впечатляет цена, которую компания устанавливает на этот телевизор –  $ 9500, что сравнимо с OLED моделями с такой же диагональю.<br />
