Если представленные на выставке CES 2012 модели BeoVision 12 в комплекте с фирменной акустикой зашкаливают далеко за $10000, новую серию можно назвать вполне демократичной. Bang & Olufsen BeoPlay V1 начнет продаваться с начала мая по цене €2 399 (~$3 170) и and €2 899 (~$3 831).<br /><br />Кроме размера экрана, об этих телевизорах известны следующие данные. BeoPlay V1 будут производиться в нескольких цветовых решениях, с напольной и настольной подставкой, настенным креплением.<br /><br />В телевизоре Bang & Olufsen BeoPlay используется новая платформа “Video Engine”, которая улучшит качество изображения и звука, предоставит пользователю новый видеоинтерфейс и возможность соединения с домашней DLNA  сетью.<br /><br />Другие возможности включают встроенный звук формата 5.1, вход USB и 5 входов HDMI.<br />
