Благодаря двум встроенным микрофонам, которыми оснащены LED телевизоры Samsung серий ES8000, ES7500 и плазменные ТВ серии Е8000, пользователь может просто сказать «Привет, ТВ!», чтобы активировать функцию голосового управления, а затем произнести, например, «Web Browser» для выхода в Интернет, или «Следующий канал» для переключения каналов. Телевизоры распознают порядка 70 команд. Встроенная HD видеокамера позволяет при помощи жестов руки переходить по страницам в интернет, изменять уровень громкости, а также управлять другими функциями. Кроме того, видеокамера позволяет распознавать лица, чтобы автоматически открывать для каждого члена семьи его собственный вариант смарт настроек телевизора.<br /><br />Другим нововведением стала возможность обновления аппаратного и программного обеспечения – Smart Evolution. Комплект Evolution Kit, который появится в продаже в 2013 году, будет вставляться в специальный слот на задней панели телевизора и предоставляет получить доступ к новым смарт технологиям со старым телевизором.<br /><br />Smart Content предоставляет широкий выбор видео и приложений из интернет. В Samsung Apps более 400 приложений для России. В России Samsung сотрудничает с ведущими поставщиками контента, такими как Яндекс, Yota, ivi.ru, Zoomby, mail.ru, РИА Новости и многими другими<br /><br />Смарт телевизоры Samsung ЖК серий ES8000, ES7500 и плазменный телевизор серии E8000, оснащены новыми двух ядерными процессорами, обеспечивающими одновременное выполнение нескольких заданий — больше нет необходимости выключать одно приложение, чтобы запустить другое.<br /><br />Все телевизоры Samsung 2012 года для российского рынка производятся на заводе Samsung в Калужской области. Модельный ряд 2012 года представлен сериями ЖК LED телевизоров: ES4000, EH4000, EH5000, ES5000, EH6000, ES6000 (6100, 6500, 6700, 6800, 6900), ES7000 (7200, 7500) и ES8000. Производятся ЖК телевизоры серии Е420, плазменные модели серий Е450, Е490, E550, E530, Е6900, Е8000.<br /><br />Диагонали экрана телевизоров варьируются от 19 до 65 дюймов. Ценовой диапазон так же предоставляет большой выбор: от 12490 руб. (модель UE19ES4000) до 199990 руб. (модель UE65ES8000).
