Таким образом, кенийские чиновники намерены ускорить переход страны на цифровые методы передачи телевизионного сигнала. <br /><br />Кения сегодня в чем то напоминает Россию со своим стремлением в цифровое будущее. В стране также существуют в настоящее время телеканалы в стандарте DVB-T, и готовится к запуску система эфирного DVB-T2. При этом значительная часть населения не спешит отказываться от аналоговых телеприемников и даже не покупает цифровые приставки для старых телевизоров, несмотря на то, что по уверению чиновников они сделали все возможное для их удешевления.
