Первым успехом в деятельности компании можно признать предусмотрительный выпуск на российский рынок телевизоров с поддержкой неожиданно быстро (в отдельных регионах) вводимого стандарта  DVB-T2.<br /><br />Телевизионное подразделение было убыточным для Philips в течение многих лет, а в прошлом году компания объявила о продаже торговой марки китайской компании из Гонконга – TPV.<br /><br />TPV будет отвечать за проектирование, производство, поставки, маркетинг и продажи телевизоров марки Philips. В совместном предприятии – TP Vision компания Philips владеет 30% акций, а TPV – 70%, штаб- квартира будет находиться в Амстердаме.
