Электронная бумага LG на треть тоньше, чем существующие образцы EPD, в которых используется стеклянная подложка, а не  пластик, как у LG.<br /><br />Одно из других преимуществ новых дисплеев из пластика то, что они более устойчивы к ударам и падению. После падения с высоты около метра новый пластиковый дисплей LG не получает никаких повреждений. Компания утверждает, что они устойчивы также к царапинам и ударам.<br /><br />Первые продукты на основе новых гибких пластиковых дисплеев LG могут появиться на рынке уже в апреле.<br />
