Цифровое эфирное телевещание в этом формате сегодня используется в 8 странах, еще 10 проводят тестовые испытания. А 29 стран, вещающих в DVB-T, посчитали такой переход накладным и объявили об адаптации DVB-T2.<br /><br />Большую озабоченность консорциума вызывает решение Всемирной радио конференции WRC – 2012 об использовании для услуг мобильного широкополосного доступа диапазона частот 694-790 МГц , который находится в промежутке между частотами телевизионных каналов. Использование этого диапазона начнется с 2015 года и может привести к дополнительным помехам на отдельных телеканалах, что потребует от телевещателей внедрения новых решений, в частности использования после 2015 г. нового стандарта видеосжатия – HEVC.<br />
