Samsung Display Co. начнет работать с 1 апреля 2012 года. Пост президента новой компании займет Парк Донг-гун, являвшийся до этого исполнительным вице-президентом по сектору ЖК в Samsung Electronics, которая и будет владеть 100% акций нового предприятия.<br /><br />Предполагается, что такая реорганизация позволит Samsung Display сфокусироваться на производстве ЖК панелей, а Samsung Electronics успешнее разрабатывать OLED телевизоры.<br />
