Данная технология называется P-OLED и отличается использованием т. н. высокомолекулярных материалов, которые можно наносить на основу панели более дешевым печатным способом. При этом значительно снижаются затраты, но такие OLED панели пока уступают сегодня используемым  в качестве и сроке эксплуатации. Технология вместе с тем перспективная и Sumitomo Chemical надеется, что ее продукция будет востребована для сборки телевизоров.<br /><br />Свою первую OLED панель Sumitomo Chemical представила в 2009 году. <br />
