После скандального выхода из проекта компании Logitech (с убытками в $100 млн.), у Google остался один официальный партнер – компания Sony, которая, судя по всему, уже больше не имеет особого желания быть локомотивом проекта и собирается уделить больше внимания собственным планам.<br /><br />Новыми партнерами Google должны стать Samsung и американская компания Vizio, которая уже в декабре представит свою модель Google телевизора. Появились сообщения, что и LG может показать на CES 2012 cвой вариант смарт телевизора на базе операционной системы Android с поддержкой платформы Google TV.<br /><br />Однако, очередной неприятностью для Google стал отказ компании Adobe в поддержке технологии Flash на телевизорах с  Android. Эта технология играет важную роль в создании интерактивных меню и в перемещениях по сети. Такое развитие событий на руку Apple, которая изначально отказалась от использования Flash и является для Google конкурентом на американском рынке в предоставлении потоковых медиа услуг через интернет.<br />Вместе с тем, LG уже заявила о переходе в своих смарт телевизорах на альтернативную технологию Adobe AIR.    <br />
