<div align="center"><!--dle_image_begin:http://www.hdtv.ru/uploads/posts/2011-10/1318998550_sams.jpg|--><img src="http://www.hdtv.ru/uploads/posts/2011-10/1318998550_sams.jpg" alt="Samsung превращает окна в дисплеи" title="Samsung превращает окна в дисплеи"  /><!--dle_image_end--></div><br /><br />Корейская компания Samsung ранее других начала и пожалуй более преуспела в разработке прозрачных дисплеев, а теперь собирается предложить потребителю на основе прозрачных  дисплеев оконные системы.<br /><br />Институт инновационных технологий Samsung сообщил о разработке технологии, позволяющей встраивать светоизлучающие диоды (LED) в обычное стекло. Новая технология позволит сделать при необходимости из окна дисплей или LED светильник в темное время суток.<br /><br />Основой разработки являются т.н. галлий нитридные структуры (Gallium Nitride – GaN), которые сейчас могут быть изготовлены размером в 2 дюйма. Но в последующем они должны стать больше в 400 раз. Новая технология может быть использована в телевизорах и мониторах и кроме того поможет снизить их стоимость.<br /><br />Samsung полагает, что дисплейные окна начнут широко использоваться примерно через 10 лет.
