Эти чипы кроме высокого разрешения поддерживают передачу сигнала в разрешения 1080р с поддержкой 3D и 4К в будущем.  <br /><br />Новые чипы Sony, маркируемые как CXD2835ER (DVB-C/DVB-C2) и CXD2836ER (CXD2836ER), в начале ноября будут доступны для производителей телевизоров и Blu-ray плееров, разрабатываемых к следующему году.
