Прежде всего, они станут больше, т. е. увеличится максимальный размер экрана, как для жидкокристаллических так и для плазменных моделей. Линейка HDTV Panasonic 2012 будет представлена уже в январе на выставке CES 2012.<br /><br />Значительно увеличатся в размерах ЖК LED телевизоры компании, они почти догонят по размерам сегодняшние плазменные, хотя и плазмы также подрастут по диагонали. Сегодня Panasonic  производит в классе ЖК LED моделей лишь 37 и 42 дюймовые панели. Максимальный размер плазменных телевизоров составляет 65 дюймов. Между тем компания уже продает профессиональные плазменные дисплеи с размерами экрана в 85 и 103 дюйма. Новые смарт телевизоры Panasonic будут называться Smart Viera.<br />
