К отличительным характеристикам S27A850D относятся эргономичный дизайн и сверхвысокое разрешение (2560 х 1440).<br /><br />Новый тип ЖК матрицы обеспечивает расширенные до 178 градусов углы обзора, расширенный цветовой охват, малое время отклика, а также высокую статическую контрастность. Специальная конструкция матрицы сокращает потери света от источников подсветки. Технология PLS на 36% сокращает энергопотребление, по сравнению с обычными ЖК-дисплеями.<br /><br />Максимальное разрешение экрана монитора Samsung S27A850D составляет 2560 х 1440 пикселей. Такое разрешение позволяет одновременно отображать на экране изображения от двух независимых источников, подключенных через два входа DVI-D. Технология носит название Picture By Picture. Монитор также оснащен разъемом Display Port.<br /><br />Эргономичная подставка позволяет регулировать положение дисплея по высоте, с наклоном и вращением экрана. Монитор может работать в портретном режиме (вертикальное расположение) и снабжен удобной ручкой для переноски.<br /><br />Для высокоскоростного соединения с периферийными устройствами есть три порта USB 3.0 с максимальной скоростью передачи данных до 5 Гбит/сек, что делает возможным передачу Full HD видео (1080р).<br /><br />Технология Eco Motion автоматически выключает дисплей, если пользователь отсутствует. Функция Eco Light регулирует яркость экрана, исходя из условий внешней освещенности. <br /><br />ЖК LED монитор Samsung S27A850D поступит на российский рынок в сентябре 2011 года по ориентировочной розничной цене 26 000 рублей.<br />
