<div align="center"><!--dle_image_begin:http://www.hdtv.ru/uploads/posts/2011-08/1313045925_lgsony.jpg|--><img src="http://www.hdtv.ru/uploads/posts/2011-08/1313045925_lgsony.jpg" alt="Sony и LG прекращают патентные споры" title="Sony и LG прекращают патентные споры"  /><!--dle_image_end--></div><br /><br />Корейская компания LG и японская Sony объявили о прекращении патентных споров, заявив об урегулировании всех вопросов вне судебной процедуры и подписали кросс-лицензионное соглашение, которое удовлетворило обе стороны. <br /><br />Обе компании изначально сотрудничали с соглашением о разделе технологий, однако иски были поданы после окончания срока партнерства, когда обе стороны, по сообщениям, не смогли договориться об условиях возобновления. Sony обвиняла LG в нарушении патентов при производстве смартфонов и настаивала в судебном порядке на прекращении их продажи на территории США. LG в свою очередь считала, что Sony использует их разработки в Blu-ray приводах игровых консолей PS3 и потребовала запретить продажи PS3 в Европе.<br /><br />В суде дело дошло даже до того, что голландский суд запретил реализацию поступившей на склады партии PS3. Но затем отменил свое решение и потребовал от LG заплатить  $ 180 000 за судебные издержки. В результате Sony и LG, видимо, решили, что дешевле будет обойтить в решении конфликта собственными силами.<br />
