Digital Video Broadcasting), получил новый профиль. К базовому профили наземного телевещания, который теперь называется DVB-T2 Base, добавился DVB-T2-Lite.<br /><br />Дополнительный профиль Т2-Lite является облегченным вариантом и предназначен для цифрового мобильного телевещания. Он отличается ограниченным набором функциональных возможностей и режимов, не так важных для мобильного ТВ. Зато для обеспечения оптимального приема в сложных условиях он предусматривает одновременную передачу двух цифровых видеопотоков, различающихся лишь битрейтами и уровнями защиты, что немаловажно в условиях мобильного приема.
