Согласно представленного отчета, чистая прибыль у LG Electronics во втором квартале 2011 года резко упала на 87%, в  сравнении с аналогичными показателями годовой давности. Такие показатели объясняются низким возвратом инвестиций в сегменте ЖК панелей, а также сокращением прибыли от продаж электробытовых приборов и кондиционеров.<br /><br />Чистая прибыль LG Electronics за период с апреля по июнь 2011 года составила $103 млн., тогда как во втором квартале прошлого года компания заработала более $817 млн.<br />При этом отмечается, что операционная прибыль компании выросла на 25% и достигла $150 млн., хотя объем продаж снизился на 0,2%, по сравнению с тем же периодом 2010 года. Позитивным фактором в деятельности компании стало то, что после двух подряд убыточных кварталов компания все же оказалась в плюсе.<br /><br /><br />Курс акций LG Electronics на биржевых торгах в Сеуле вырос более чем на 3%. <br />
