Три месяца назад Hitachi показала аналогичный дисплей, но с гораздо меньшим разрешением и размерами, а также на основе другой автостерескопической технологии.<br /><br />Новый дисплей поддерживает разрешение 720р при диагонали экрана 4,5 дюйма, тогда как прежний имел диагональ 3,1 дюйма, а разрешение 854x480 пиксел. Новая модель использует для лентикулярную 3D технологию, тогда как прежняя – метод параллаксного барьера. Новый дисплей обеспечивает повышенную яркость 400 кд/кв.м в 3D режиме и 470 кд/кв.м в 2D.<br /><br />Компания пока не объявила о планах коммерциализации нового 3D дисплея, но полагает, что он будет использован в портативных телевизорах, игровых консолях других мобильных устройствах. <br />
