Полностью оценить преимущества приема картинки в формате кадра 16:9 смогут лишь телезрители, имеющие современные телевизоры с таким экраном и принимающие сигнал через спутниковые антенны и цифровые кабельные сети. Через аналоговые антенны и аналоговые кабельные сети сигнал будет подаваться с соотношением сторон 14:9.<br /><br />В России количество HDTV с поддержкой формата 16:9 уже превысило количество старых моделей с форматом экрана 4:3. <br /><br /><b>Инструкция по настройке телевизора с сайта Первого телеканала</b><br /><i>1. Если вы принимаете сигнал с помощью спутникового ресивера или кабельного приемника и:</i><br />- используете телевизор с квадратным экраном – переключите свой приемник в режим "4:3 letterbox";<br />- используете телевизор с широким экраном – переключите свой приемник в режим "16:9".<br /><i>2. Если вы получаете сигнал с эфирной антенны или через кабельную сеть:</i><br />- на экране телевизора с квадратным экраном вы увидите изображение с узкими черными полосами сверху и снизу;<br />- переведите широкоэкранный телевизор в режим "14:9", при этом на экране картинка будет иметь узкие вертикальные черные полосы с левого и правого краев. <br /><br />Поэкспериментируйте с настройками масштабирования для получения наилучшего эффекта, поскольку телевизоры различных изготовителей могут иметь разные режимы. Выберите тот, который больше вас устроит.<br /><br />В случае возникновения проблем обращайтесь к своему кабельному оператору и задавайте вопросы на сайте Первого канала.
