В плоском элегантном корпусе новых накопителей скрыты 2,5 дюймовые жесткие диски. Обе серии поддерживают как USB 2.0 так и USB 3.0, есть три варианта различающихся по емкости: 500 ГБ, 750 ГБ и 1 ТБ. <br /><br />Единственное различие между сериями заключается во внешнем оформлении,  модели XE1 выполнены в глянцевом дизайне,  а XE3 в матовом.<br /><br />Накопители LG XE1 и XE2 уже в продаже в Южной Корее по цене, в зависимости от емкости, от $92 до $148.<br />
