Ежемесячно они производили 172 000 LCD панелей для телевизоров и мониторов. Остановка производства вызвана не повреждениями на заводах, а нехваткой газа для работы предприятия. <br /><br />Простой производства запланирован до 6 мая. Представители компании утверждают, что имеющихся на складах телевизоров как раз хватит на месяц продаж. Между тем некоторые аналитики утверждают, что по итогам года компания может из-за этой остановки производства потерять около $590 млн.<br /><br />Но все это кажется мелочами, в сравнении с 27 000 погибших и пропавших без вести в результате первого землетрясения, а также последствиями радиоактивного загрязнения из-за последовавшей аварии на атомной станции. <br />
