Одна из особенностей новых моделей высшего и среднего класса - встроенная система автокалибровки, которая позволит добиться очень точной цветопередачи.<br /><br />Система полностью автоматизирована и пользователю потребуется лишь нажать кнопку на пульте управления. Система калибровки генерирует тестовые таблицы, с помощью установленного перед экраном датчика измеряет уровень цветовых составляющих на экране и, сравнивая с образцовым результатом, корректирует систему цветопередачу  телевизора.<br /><br />Однако, если программная часть уже встроена в новые HDTV Toshiba, то измерительный датчик покупается отдельно за 250 евро. Автоматическая калибровка поддерживается телевизорами Toshiba из серий ZL1, WL863, YL863, VL863 и UL863.<br />
