За счет этого новые модели HDTV Toshiba обладают   высокой производительностью. Технология Personal-TV распознает лица зарегистрированных пользователей и автоматически устанавливает любимые настройки сидящего у телевизора зрителя. <br /><br />Среди бюджетных моделей Toshiba в 2011 году представлены две серии на основе LCD панелей с боковой LED подсветкой: VL863 и UL863 с размерами экрана по диагонали 42 и 47 дюймов.  В серии VL863 используется пассивная 3D технология с поляризационными очками, поддерживается беспроводной интерфейс Wi-Fi. <br /><br />Аналогичные модели, но без поддержки 3D представлены в серии UL863. И наиболее доступная серия SL863 не поддерживает ни 3D, ни Wi-Fi. Более подробные характеристики и цены появятся позже.
