Но в последнее время соперничество принимает ожесточенный характер. По результатам прошлого года Samsung сумел отхватить изрядную долю рынка 3D телевизоров. Контраргументом LG в нынешнем должна стать реанимированная поляризационная 3D технология под маркетинговых названием 3D Cinema, за счет которой  LG намеревается привлечь в первую очередь среднестатического покупателя, неискушенного в тонкостях технологий. <br /><br />На одной из пресс конференций представитель Samsung посчитал рекламную компанию LG не совсем точной и корректной и в ответ нелицеприятно охарактеризовал 3D телевизоры LG, использовав при этом ненормативную лексику.<br /><br />Представитель LG заявил, что существует бизнес-этика и общепринятые нормы конкуренции, очень обидно и неприемлемо, если топ-менеджер всемирно уважаемой  компания унижает на официальном мероприятии сотрудников компании соперника, причем с использованием ненормативной лексики.<br />
