Из проданных в прошлом году во всем мире 16,8 млн. LED мониторов на долю LG пришлось 2,9 млн. Эта цифра составляет 18% мирового рынка. Успех еще более примечателен, если учесть, что в 2009 году на долю LG приходился только 1% от общего производства таких моделей в мире. <br /><br />Однако компания не собирается почивать на лаврах, а стремится развить свой успех и захватить к концу года все 30% мирового производства мониторов. Достичь таких целей, по мнению компании, поможет ряд передовых  технологий, уже опробованных на телевизорах. Не последнее место среди этих технологий будет занимать 3D Cinema – доступное и недорогое решение для объемного видеовоспроизведения фильмов и игр. Важной причиной успеха у покупателей, наверное, является используемый в новых мониторах компании  тип LCD панелей. Как известно LG, также как и Panasonic является приверженцем жидкокристаллической технологии IPS.
