Народ думал, что все сведется к числу пикселей и частоте обновления, но в конце-концов все решили геймеры и порнушники. Тот формат, который поддерживает порно-индустрия, становится самым успешным». То есть, если технология востребована индустрией "взрослого" кино, то, весьма вероятно, ее ждет успех и на широком потребительском рынке.<br /><br />Корпорация Penthouse с марта запускает порно-канал, который будет вещать в формате 3DHD. Свою работу он начинает именно в Европе, хотя изначально предполагалось, что дебют состоится в США. Создатели обещают ежедневное вещание с 11 вечера до 5 утра, кроме того каждый месяц корпорация собирается добавлять по 30 часов свежего 3D контента для взрослых.<br /><br />Возможно, это событие даст новый толчок в популяризации технологии, которая в последнее время все больше воспринимается как игрушка. Некоторые компании придерживаются мнения, что эротика считается своеобразным «двигателем прогресса». Бытует мысль, что такие прелести современной электронной жизни, как высокоскоростной Интернет, системы онлайн-платежей и видеотрансляции в Интернете обязаны своим развитием именно порноиндустрии.<br /><br />Кроме того, всем известен случай, когда издатели видео для взрослых оказали решающие влияние на рынок. В 80-х как носитель для своей продукции они выбрали именно VHS кассеты, а не более прогрессивный Betacam, который так и не смог стать популярным.<br /><br />Penthouse, кстати, не единственная компания, идущая навстречу инновациям. Hustler подтвердил свое намерение запустить аналогичный канал до конца марта, а согласно источникам Financial Post, совсем скоро к ним присоединится и Playboy. Интересно будет посмотреть, дадут ли 3D порно-каналы толчок к увеличению продаж 3D телевизоров.
