В начале года цены были снижены на распродажах. В настоящее время производители избавляются от складских запасов, освобождая площади под новые модели. Поэтому к лету может проявиться тенденция к стабилизации цен за счет появления на рынке нового поколения более функционально оснащенных и естественно поначалу более дорогих моделей.<br /><br />Вместе с тем аналитики отмечают, что большая часть американцев уже поменяла старые модели на современные плоскопанельные, и чтобы заставить их еще раз сменить телевизор нужны весомые основания, которыми должны стать 3D технология и явно более тонкие и привлекательные пропорции моделей HDTV 2011 года. <br /><br />В США средняя цена 32 дюймового телевизора в 2010 году составила $374 в нынешнем году ожидается 16% снижение стоимости жидкокристаллических HDTV  до $319. <br />
