Недавно разработанная технология получила название PLS и, по сути является вариантом давно известной технологии IPS, которую используют также Pioneer, LG и Panasonic.  <br /><br />Первым дисплеем на основе панели PLS стал монитор SA850, предназначенный для фотографов и профессиональной работы с графикой. Samsung SA850 имеет диагональ экрана 27 дюймов и разрешение 2560x1440, время отклика 5 мс, углы обзора составляют 178 градусов. <br /><br />В SA850 используется 10-ти битная обработка цветовых сигналов, поддерживается расширенная цветовая палитра. Кроме того монитор оснащен датчиком для поддержки режима энергосбережения, портом USB 3.0.<br /><br />Начало продаж и стоимость Samsung SA850 пока не объявлены.
