В кратком пресс-релизе не было представлено особых подробностей, но зато отмечено, что основная проблема современной 3D индустрии дефицит соответствующих материалов для просмотра. Восполнить этот пробел и призван LG Optimus 3D, оснащенный двух линзовой 3D камерой, не требующим 3D очков дисплеем, HDMI и Ethernet интерфейсами.
